One Week In Gold Coast - Australia 2009 (Part 1)

me & my beloved sister...

I am back in action again....
Reached my home sweet home yesterday morning at about 11am after taking about 9 hours flight from Australia back to Penang.
I had been to Gold Coast, Australia for about 1 week since 12th June 2009.
It was really a wonderful and awesome trip I had together with my sister, daddy, mummy & last but not least my daddy's beloved friend Uncle Ong and his
wife Auntie Libbie...
We were very glad and happy that they came all the way from Cairns, Australia to Gold Coast just to bring us around.
Mummy really got a big shock & surprise when she arrived at the arrival hall at Brisbane airport. She didn't know that uncle and auntie will be coming over to meet us..(and yes we made it to the last).. hehe..
Uncle Ong is my daddy best friend since young who migrated to Australia very long ago. He is really the best among the best friend my daddy had in Australia and vice verse..
I still remember the last time we went to his house was like 12 years ago when i was in standard 3 (year 1997).. We had a wonderful Christmas at his house at Cairns, Australia together with his whole family..
The last time we met was 9 years ago when they came to Penang for a holiday.. Time really fies fast right??? At times it feels like we have been here for awhile

Reached Brisbane International Airport at night around 10 pm. Uncle Ong & Auntie Libbie were waiting for us at the arrival hall..Mummy get a big surprise once she walked out... hehe.. Drive all the way up to Coolongatta road where our apartment is.. (it tooks about 1 hour 30 min to reached there from the airport)

We had our breakfast at Pancake in Paradise. There we had great pancakes and crepes with a great sea view and flying seagulls around- feels perfectly great with the family and the Ong's company!! After breakfast uncle drives us around gold coast beach, the boaders between New South Wales & Queensland.. I stepped to New South Wales for few minutes... hehe.. Feell the fresh air during these windy day..
We even went for food shooping and also BWS shooping (BWS - beer, wine & spirit)... Me and my sister cooked our 1st dinner at our apartment.. Having chicken, omelette , rice & so on..

Oh ya we even went down to the games room to play the games. It was the 1st time my mom n dad played pool.. Damm cute... we laugh like mad.. mummy enjoys playing ping pong with uncle and auntie...Auntie Libbie & uncle Ong... At gold coast beach... see how clean and nicethe boarder.. between NSW & Queenslandcan you see the surfers in action???sadly i cant surf at that time...BWS shop

me & lovely Jessica

We had our morning breakfast at our apartment and then we moved to our next destination. Pacific Fair where we went. It is Gold Coast Biggest & Oldest Shopping Mall.. We had a morning walk in the mall and bought some Darell Lee chocolates back home... Uncle and Auntie took us to their best best friend house for a lunch. There we met Uncle Darren, Auntie Toni and their two children Samuel & Jessica .Uncle Darren was Uncle Ong ex boss too.. They leave in a water front at Champagne Boulevard. They do own their own boat .. The place where they live is where all the upper class people stayed too.. You can see and fell how these rich people enjoy their life...Uncle Darren & Auntie Toni cooked a wonderful lunch for us with steak, wine, desserts, salads and so on... yum yum... Uncle Darren even took us around the sea using his boat.. That was really nice of him.... Looking around big houses, people fishing, kangaroo around and also feeling the fresh air... At night we bought some mexican food to our apartment.

On this very night, Uncle Ong shared some stories about his life, some kind of success stories I find a little kind of familiar that I have heard before from some sharing by successful entrepreneur all around.see how lucky is these dog.. 15 June 2009the stunt hollywood stunt druver show...

Okay where did I went on that day... Movie World!!!! Movie World - Hollywood on the Gold Coast. All together there are four big world for us to visit but we only went for 2 world because we bought a 2 world package price.. There are Movie World, Sea World, Dream World and Wet & Wild World.. Movie World indeed very similar to Universal Studios in Hollywood, LA. Compare to Universal Studios of cause Movie World not that best but at least something.. hehe..
Warner Bros.Movie World is the only place where you can lost in a world of fantasy and fun. Meeting favourite stars and DC super heroes like batman, loonet tunes and so on.

We went for Hollywood stunt driver show, Shrek 4D adventure show, Looney Tunes show, watching Star Parade and last but not least we took the Scooby-Doo Spooky Coaster.Scooby-doo spooky coaster.. outside view..the roller coaster that i am chicken out.. hehebatman in return.. haha

I am a bit chicken out to play those super duper fast and scary roller coaster... hehe...

So, I didnt played all the rides.. me & my sister really nearly make our mom get heart attack by taking the Scooby-Doo Spooky Coaster. This is because we never expect it to be so 'amazing".. hehe.. with all the laser lighting and spund effect and going down backwards from the top.. hehe..here they are.. star parade.. - tweety bird & bugs bunny cardonald duck in actionslvester carScooby -doo family.. hehe

We had our lovely dinner at Uncle Darren's house again.. Uncle Ong & uncle Darren went fishing on the afternoon and they caught 10 big snapper fish.. wow, we were very lucky to eat this fresh and delicious fish caught by them.. the ladies and girls prepared the dinner together at that night..the snapper fish.. fresh fish from the sea.

My lucky number for this semester.. That is my room number for my 2nd year in uni..
This was what happened yesterday evening when see mei called me (i make it short cut) :-
See Mei : Wei hp, which room are you in ?
Me : Ha??? Can check which room did i get.. I am outside now and going back home.
See Mei : I get GROUND FLOOR you know.. scary lor.. suddenly kick to down floor (but she
keep laughing.. haha)
Me : okok.. i go back quickly check and see which room i get then i call you..

haha.. that was quite funny somehow..
when i went back home, i quickly on my computer and check ...
Alamat : Blok 2 then 023A...
We get the same room.. damm lucky .. and i think the room we get is 2 person in a room since it is at ground floor.. I am not so sure..
Again staying with my beloved room mate .. good...
No need to climb till 3rd floor again like last year.. but if they still give me 3rd floor i am also find with it because I am used to it...

P/s : ah bee don't tell me laugh die you again when you see this.. haha

Welcome back Mr Eu Jen to Penang Island...B4 we start our journey up to Penang Hill..me & my neighbout, ah fen
Eu Jen, my neighbour cousin brother and also one of my friend last time when he was small...

He just came back to Penang this week for a holiday trip with his parents..
anyway he is from Sydney, Australia... born in penang but migrate to australia when he was small... haha...
It was quite long i didnt't met him.. about 7 years since he came here last time (year 2002)
Looks kind of different compare to last time.. somehow looks younger compare to his age.
guess how old is he now by viewing his pic?????
most of my friends think that he is only 24 or 25 but he is NOT....
this uncle already reach 29 years old this year.. haha..
unbelievable right.. haha..
went around penang for about 3 days...
to Penang Hill, Kek Lok Si, Shopping Mall, Batu Feringghi & so last but not list we do eat alot ... keke...
Today he going back to Australia... See him next trip or maybe next year then.... have a great day with him too...

Another Big Reunion again.....Happy family : liling, wenshan, me, huiting, shyamala, swee ten, fiona, loowen, chiaming, meiling, pheichuin, jolyn, yujean & suriani..

After everyone finished their 1st year, here we we are sggs galz....
Last time before all of us went to our uni, we had a gathering aka reunion at hui ting's aunt's house before....
And last two days we gather again for our reunion.. as usual pok luck and so called bbq ... haha..
Everyone still the same.. still having the same craziness and miang-ness.. lolz...
Really had a great time together with all of you gals.. SGGS rocks... haha
Beside eating, we also had some singing session lead by our beloved meiling with her guitar, chit chatting around, even playing ice man/ice water in the baby pool that cause most of us laughed like mad and screamed like hell (especially fiona), & last but not list of cause camwhoring all night long..
Today we went back to our beloved school , SGGS ...
It had been very long all of us didn't visit our school..
There are so many changes made ever since we left school...
Still miss my school life so much... hehe..
After that was our karaoke session/singing session/screaming session at red box.. haha

After so long.....

After so long rotting at home, at last i can go out with my beloved friends..
Actually i almost went out everyday this week (except monday only i think)..
haha...
Everyone of my friends are back to this wonderful island... (waiting for ting to back)
What did i do this whole week.. played mahjung at lulu house, went to redbox twice with different friends, changed my hairstyle and i just forgot what i had did... hehe
B4 that i have to stay at home rest and make sure my ankle fully recover .. i did go out a few times with mummy and daddy because cant stand staying whole morning and night at home for few weeks...
I know ml is suffering at uum now and tomorrow she is going to start her 1st competiton...
Wish her all the best and hope she can stand her life there till next week.. kaka...
Today me, jo, lw, cm & ll went to redbox for karaoke session again and enjoy lepak-ing around gurney...
we took quite a lot of pictures even we just sit at mcdonald... (for your info, i like to take a lot pf pics and keep it for memories :) )
At night me & ming went to Joanne's 21st Birthday celebration... Happy Belated Birthday to Joanne Chow... Hope she like the present too..
Yay.. my sister is back and i am not gonna get bored then..cheers...:)

How i celebrated my mother's day with my beloved mummy and grandma??
As usual going out for dinner and going around ..
Sadly sister can't manage to come back as she is busy these days packing her stuff.
This year we had different way of celebration.
We had a wonderful seafood dinner with my dad two only sisters.. (which was my ta gu and xiau gu)
Celebrating 4 mums biggest day together... Anyway my dad big sister is also my god mother since i was small...
The place that we ate really pack with people..
Everyone brings their beloved mother and family to have a wonderful dinner together at these memorable day..
Really want to thank my mum for bringing me up to this world..Really appreciate all her hard work.. Love you..

But i think I am even worst than you because of my stupid leg...
Until now haven't fully recover.. Injured quit badly...
Sadly, because of this I can't make it for Cameron Highlands Trip with my friends which was plan before my finals i think..
Haihz... I thought i can make it for the trip but end up i have to give up...
Even though my friends keep asking me to go and they will take care for me this and that, but i still feel bad for them lar..
Later i give more worries or "mahuan" to them...Scared my leg will get worsen too if i keep walking...
I must make sure my leg recover soon because my dad is planning a family trip on June ...
Due to H1N1 virus , my dad postpone our family trip.. luckily or else it will be on mid may... and sister i know we must say byebye to NZ also.. keke...thx to H1N1...
I do not want to stay at home anymore.. is getting bored and bored... huhh...
hehe.... maybe i am the one who like to "kia" a lot.. haha..
